This waterfront renovation and addition in Northport—featured in Newsday—reimagines a 1960s split-level home through contemporary design and construction. Board-formed concrete walls and a steel staircase introduce a refined, modern language, while a blackened steel fireplace anchors the interior. A standing-seam metal roof completes the exterior transformation. The dining room table, built from a tree that fell on the property during Hurricane Sandy, serves as a meaningful connection between the home’s modern expression and its natural setting.
